Richard joined New Perspectives in 2025 and leads on funding applications, individual giving and corporate support. Previously Enterprise Manager at Canal & River Trust and Project Manager for East Leicestershire LEADER. Richard has over 20 years’ experience in the arts, culture and charitable sector including roles at Cultivate, Arts Council and Transported.  Richard is excited to be championing East Midlands voices and reaching communities beyond traditional theatre spaces. 

Richard loves: Theatre, Cinema, Live Comedy, Nottingham Forest, Heavy Metal, travel and swimming when he gets a chance to fit it in.
